Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and restaurant management. Responsibilities

* Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food production.
* Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective team management and leadership.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
* Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling costs to maximise profitability.
* Train new employees on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and serving standards.
* Address customer feedback promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events and menu offerings effectively.
* Monitor financial performance, preparing reports on sales trends and operational efficiency.

Experience

* Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is highly desirable.
* Previous supervising experience is required, demonstrating effective team management skills.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance.
* Experience in hotel or barista settings would be advantageous but not mandatory.
