Are you passionate about helping children thrive academically and personally in Key Stage 2?
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Upper KS2 Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where staff are valued and children are at the heart of every decision.
The post requires an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who can demonstrate a strong track record of effective classroom practice and pupil progress. This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as it requires a confident practitioner with the ability to lead learning independently and contribute to the wider development of the phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Upper Key Stage 2.
* Plan and implement engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and high expectations.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with experience or strong interest in teaching Upper KS2.
* Someone with a passion for education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing and achievement.
* A reflective practitioner who is eager to contribute to school improvement.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
