Overview
Support individuals as they move from custody back into the community, helping them build more stable and positive futures. In this role you will manage a caseload across HMP Lewes (3‑4 days per week) and Worthing Probation Service (1‑2 days per week).
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload across HMP Lewes and Worthing Probation Service.
* Support individuals in custody and in the community, helping them navigate their resettlement journey before and after release.
* Ensure each person has a clear, practical plan covering housing, healthcare, education, wellbeing, life skills and employment.
* Provide one‑to‑one support, deliver structured sessions and connect individuals with the right services inside prison and in the community.
Qualifications
* Experience working within the criminal justice system (prison or probation settings) or supporting vulnerable individuals in mental health, substance misuse or homelessness.
* Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary experience.
* Previous roles may include Prison Officer, Probation Officer, Resettlement Worker, Supported Housing Officer, Substance Misuse Worker, Careers Advisor, Employment Advisor or Hostel Worker.
