We have an exciting opportunity for a SUD Therapist to join our Adult Behavioral Health team of talented professionals.
This position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an incentive opportunity each pay period!
We have a market-based compensation structure. The estimated salary for this position starts at $52,026 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package with affordable medical plans, employer-paid dental, vision, long-term disability, 401(k), flexible spending accounts for medical and dependents, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.
The Adult Behavioral Health SUD Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload of clients, adolescents, and adults with primary substance abuse and/or mental health diagnoses. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, maintaining case records, completing authorizations with funding sources, and providing appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity. Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm, with evening hours required based on program needs.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling and relevant State of Michigan licensure (candidates without a license can be considered if they obtain licensure within 60 days of hire).
- Obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire.
- Possess a CAADC credential or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification development plan within six weeks of hire.
- One year of experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and cultural competency.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships with team members and clients, and flexibility to adapt to program needs.
