Maintenance Technician – Multi-skilled (Fabric)
Salary: Grade 5, £26,338 - £30,805 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: Cirencester, GL7 6JS

They are looking for an experienced technician to join the University’s Maintenance Technician team, part of the wider Estates and IT directorate. The Maintenance team ensures the upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance of the University’s buildings fabric, with particular emphasis on electrical or mechanical services and equipment, carried out safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent), and experience in a similar maintenance/service environment, or electrical or mechanical installation background. They will be competent with Microsoft Office and hold a current driving license or equivalent mobility. The role requires lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 25kg.
This role reports to the Estates Team Leader and requires effective communication across all levels of the University to carry out tasks efficiently.
