We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Relationship Manager at Barclays to focus on developing and maintaining good business relationships with our SME clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that clients’ needs are met with the right financial solutions while promoting client retention and satisfaction. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ business goals, offering tailored products and services, and managing ongoing relationships to drive both their success and Barclays’ growth.
Responsibilities include:
Managing client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance; analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Researching industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
Designing customized solutions that address clients' specific needs, incorporating a range of bank products and services.
Communicating the value of proposed solutions, negotiating terms, and ensuring mutual benefit.
Providing guidance on financial decisions, investment advice, risk management, and market updates.
Assessing and minimizing financial, legal, and operational risks.
Documenting all interactions and transactions for transparency and audit purposes.
Monitoring client satisfaction and revenue metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in business relationship management, lending, or banking, especially with SME clients and lending products.
Strong business development skills with a track record of securing new opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role is based at our Brentwood office.
