Overview
Infor is looking for a talented Manager to join our SunSystems team as we build momentum for our Multi‑Tenant cloud solution. SunSystems is a well‑established financial management solution with depth of functionality that attracts thousands of B2B customers in multiple verticals around the globe. The solution is combined with real‑time analytics and is tightly integrated into Infor’s Technology platform.

Responsibilities
* Work with the SunSystems R&D leadership team and the R&D Director to build strategy, deliver communications and provide leadership within the IBU R&D team.
* Help each team member to create an environment where the team can do their best work, setting clear objectives, handling line‑management, removing impediments, advocating for the team and representing them in the wider organization.
* Participate in department strategy, management, communication and coordination of leadership across the whole R&D team, collaborating with peers in UK, China, and India.
* Take ownership of release management and governance for the product, ensuring high standards of consistency and control, coordinating with Infor central governance, Cloud Operations and Support.
* Work with architects, development leads and QA to shape release content and planning for product feature releases and critical fix releases.
* Align release processes with agile Scrum‑based development activities with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
* Guide and coach team members, support their development, onboarding, growth and career building.
Basic Qualifications
* Strong experience and skills in line management and leadership, able to lead a team of up to 10 individuals with diverse technical skills based in Farnborough, UK in a hybrid working pattern.
* Broad background in software development and release of products, understanding of how software is built, deployed and maintained.
* Experience with corporate release governance under a formal development process (e.g., ISO27001) and ownership of formal process and release artifacts.
* Experience working in or with teams practicing Agile (preferably Scrum) and iterative development practices.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Enthusiasm and ability to collaborate well with others, including remote teams.
* Professional pride, drive and curiosity, a diligent self‑starter who keeps up to date with best practice.
* Strong problem‑resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with enterprise‑level applications (e.g., financial, ERP) is beneficial.
* Knowledge of cloud and experience with enterprise applications running in cloud.
* Ability to take on incident management, calm and well‑organised under pressure, adapting leadership style as required.
* Customer focused mindset, understanding end‑user requirements.
* Understanding of accounting/reporting/financial applications, or experience with Infor SunSystems and Query & Analysis is beneficial but not required.
