Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager. The role of the Business Development Manager is to improve this organization's market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions, who works in a senior sales position within the business working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for this entity.
Mani duties
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
• Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the business network
• Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
• Research and build relationships with new clients
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and the Managing Director
• Plan approaches and pitches
• Develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
• Participate in pricing the solution
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion by using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
• Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree with 2 years experience OR at least 5 years of sales or marketing experience may substitute for the formal qualification

$85 – $95k plus superannuation
