Pentagon Motor Group has an exciting and rare opportunity for a Trainee Sales Consultant to join the fantastic team at our Huddersfield dealership.

What will you be doing?
As a Trainee Sales Consultant, you’ll learn every aspect of the vehicle sales process while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
With full training and guidance, you will:
6. Take time to understand each customer’s needs and build genuine, lasting relationships.
7. Deliver a first-class, transparent, and enjoyable buying experience.
8. Learn how to present and sell new and used vehicles confidently and professionally.
9. Support customers with finance options, add-on products, and aftersales solutions.
10. Follow up with new and existing customers via telephone and digital platforms.
11. Work towards agreed performance goals as your confidence and experience grow.
12. Represent the Pentagon brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.

13. A structured in-house training programme from Day 1.
14. A dedicated experienced Sales Consultant “buddy” to guide and support you.
15. Full manufacturer training, with the goal of becoming brand-accredited within 12 months.

No previous motor industry experience is required—we’re looking for the right mindset, not a CV full of sales roles.
Salary & Rewards
17. £30,000 basic salary for the first 3 months

Previous sales or motor industry experience is not required—full training will be provided.
Working Hours
This position is 5 days per week, working to a sales rota including weekends.
