We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our friendly finance team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong administrative control. This role involves working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, internal departments, and customers while supporting key finance processes, including month-end tasks, reconciliations, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable, Suppliers & Subcontractors
* Assist with the processing of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
* Assist with reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
* Process supplier goods received notes (GRNs) and match them to invoices.
* Process subcontractor invoices in line with CIS requirements.
Cashbook & Banking
* Post cash book transactions accurately.
* Carry out daily bank reconciliations.
Sales Ledger & Customer Accounts
* Process Stripe invoices and reconcile both the purchase ledger and debtor accounts.
* Prepare and process manual invoices for waste collection recycling.
* Manage and process intercompany transactions.
* Administration of retail contracts and processing customer invoices.
Management Account Support
* Provide support for month-end processes.
* Run stock variances.
Cover & Additional Duties
Provide cover for key finance tasks when required, including:
* Credit control activities.
* Weekly payroll processing.
* KPI reporting.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an accounts administration or finance support role preferred.
* Knowledge of CIS processing is advantageous.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with accounting software Sage 200, Sage 50 and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
