About the Role and our Ideal Candidate Responsibilities Overview: You will maintain, develop, and optimise the financial components of the Mosaic case management system for adult and children's social care services. You will lead the configuration of finance modules, including charging, payments, commitments, and budget codes, ensuring workflows align with statutory adult social care requirements and corporate finance procedures. You will act as a key liaison between social care services, the finance department, and software suppliers, coordinating monthly payment runs, supporting budget forecasting, and providing expert input for strategic financial transformation projects. You will also design and deliver targeted training programs to improve staff proficiency in the system. Skills Required: You need strong technical knowledge of Mosaic (or an equivalent case management system's) finance functionality. You must possess excellent analytical skills, strong numeracy, and attention to detail, combined with a collaborative and solution-focused approach to resolving workflow issues. You must also be proficient in financial data validation, reporting, and dashboarding. Experience: You should have hands-on experience in configuring charging rules, payment logic, and provider payment processes. You must have a strong familiarity with social care financial frameworks, including statutory guidance and local charging policies. Experience working confidently with finance teams, operational managers, and external suppliers is required. Note: Knowledge of Business World or equivalent local authority finance systems is highly desirable. Work location: Expected to be in the office at least 2-3 days per week.
