We are seeking a confident and motivated Sports Coach to deliver sports and physical activity sessions for primary and secondary-aged students with SEMH/SEND needs. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about using sport to support children who may struggle socially or academically.
As a Sports Coach, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical activity sessions
* Support students’ emotional regulation, confidence, teamwork, and social skills
* Encourage positive behaviour and routines
* Adapt sessions to meet individual needs
* Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
* Follow safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries
As a Sports Coach, you will have:
* At least 2 years’ experience working with children with SEMH/SEND needs
* Relevant sports coaching experience or qualifications
* Patience, resilience, and a positive, adaptable approach
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Hours & Pay:
* Part-time or full-time, term-time only (39 weeks)
* Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 15:30 (sessions 09:00–12:00 & 12:30–15:30)
* Hourly pay: £18–£20 (based on experience)
