An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a proactive and dedicated Corporate Control Room Officer to contribute to our esteemed Head Office in the bustling heart of London. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
The rate of pay is £ per hour.
You must be flexible and available to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends on a 42 hpw contract.
Your Time at Work
As a Corporate Control Room Officer at Allied Universal, your duties will include:
1. Maintaining a high profile, visible security presence by meeting, greeting, and assisting visitors/staff/contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
2. Ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, premises, and property whilst maintaining and enhancing the customer experience.
3. Conducting thorough security patrols, focusing on security and fault finding, escalating issues immediately to the control room. This may include health and safety concerns.
4. Preventing unauthorized entry to client premises through vigilance.
5. Investigating suspicious activity and escalating findings to the control room.
6. Assisting in emergencies, first aid, or fire evacuations.
7. Maintaining radio communication with the control room for seamless communication.
8. Remaining alert to potential threats, taking appropriate actions to minimize disruption, loss, or damage.
9. Loading bay duties such as permit control, ID checks, issuing access control cards, and managing deliveries.
10. Familiarizing with all operational standards and security procedures.
11. Creating accurate reports on incidents and accidents.
12. Monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV).
13. Responding to active alarms to maintain a secure environment.
14. Compiling detailed reports for audits.
15. Managing access control cards and permissions with proper approvals.
16. Supporting operational needs and assisting management as required.
17. Conducting thorough shift handovers with security personnel.
Our Perfect Worker
You should be aged 18 or over, confident in communication, a team player, and committed to providing friendly, professional service. Good IT skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA license including CCTV certification.
