Supply Desk is working with a warm and nurturing primary school in Maidenhead, seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from April. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping early learning experiences during the most important stage of a child’s development.
The Role
In EYFS, every moment matters — from first words to first friendships. This role is all about creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment where children can explore, discover, and grow.
You’ll be:
Creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment that sparks curiosity
Supporting children’s development across all areas of the EYFS framework
Encouraging communication, creativity, and early independence
Observing, assessing, and adapting activities to support individual progress
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Ideal Candidate
You understand that EYFS is more than teaching — it’s about nurturing, guiding, and inspiring.
You’ll likely:
Have experience teaching in EYFS or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Hold QTS or a relevant qualification (unqualified teachers also welcome to apply)
Be creative, patient, and enthusiastic
Be confident in managing a classroom while maintaining a nurturing approach
Work well as part of a team and adapt to different situations
