About the role
We are currently recruiting a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Worker to join our team at Newcastle Treatment & Recovery. Our team provides support for individuals who are experiencing problematic substance use. As part of the role, your primary responsibility is ensuring timely and comprehensive responses to enquires entering the service via our referral process. You will...
- Use strong administrative skills to process referrals and categorise enquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service when contacting individuals who are referred via a third party within set timescales and responding to self-referrals into treatment.
- Maintain accurate records and work in accordance with organisational guidelines and procedures.
- Complete triages using standardised assessment forms and assess these accurately to pass them onto the most relevant team within the partnership. Some of these triages can take place face to face but primarily take place over the phone, but also include completing triages for individuals who have been instructed to attend the service following a positive Drug Test on Arrest (DTOA).
- Use good communication skills to liaise with third party organisations and teams within the wider partnership at NTaR.
The salary advertised above demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band.
