Overview
As a Care Worker in our care home, you will support older people to live safely, comfortably and with dignity each day. You will work as part of a supportive team to provide practical care and reassurance, creating a calm and welcoming environment.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Support residents with personal and intimate care in a respectful and dignified way.
* Act as a key worker for named residents and contribute to care plans.
* Encourage physical activity, independence and social engagement.
* Support residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
* Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
* Complete daily records and reports accurately.
* Work alongside colleagues, health professionals and families.
* Work on a rota that includes weekends.
About You
* Patient, empathetic and genuinely committed to supporting older people to live well.
* Understand the importance of building trusting relationships and delivering person‑centred care that respects dignity and independence.
* Experience in care is helpful but not essential; full training and support will be provided.
* Basic IT skills required to record information and complete training.
* Willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold the qualification.
* Member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC, or willing to join and register.
