About the Team Located within the Community Safety Team and following retirement of our longstanding Prevent Officer we are seeking an experienced and capable individual to take the role forward and make it their own. You will have the opportunity to work independently in a unique role within an experienced and supportive team and highly engaged wider partnership. You will build upon an established area of work, which has achieved an assurance rating of “Exceeded Expectations” two years in a row, whilst helping to shape the future of Prevent activity in Warwickshire. About the Role You will ensure the effective implementation of the Government’s Prevent Strategy, Prevent Duty and Channel Duty in Warwickshire by coordinating the delivery of the Warwickshire Prevent Action Plan in partnership with communities, statutory partners and the voluntary sector. Key to success will be your ability to form high functioning relationships and confidently work with partners from across Warwickshire and central Government supported by a clear understanding of Prevent legislation and best practice.
