Consultant in Radiology (Paediatrics)

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Paediatric Imaging.
Main duties of the job
Join a forward-thinking NHS Trust as a Consultant in Paediatric Radiology, where you will provide expert diagnostic imaging and reporting across a broad range of paediatric conditions. Key duties include leading and supporting imaging services, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, advising clinical colleagues, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and care. You will also contribute to service delivery, supervise and support junior staff, and help maintain an efficient, responsive radiology service for children and their families.
The role includes general radiology reporting and on call provision.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Clinical Radiology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
About us
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMCs Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
