Sterile Services Supervisor

We are looking for a Sterile Services Supervisor at the HSDU department at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch. The shift is 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover other shifts when required.
Job responsibilities
To supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the Sterile Services on the Alexandra site through effective leadership, management of staff and resources, working with all members of the sterile services team to deliver a high‑quality, cost‑effective service to the Acute and Community Trusts and any other customers. To ensure that this service is delivered in accordance with accepted best practice, Trust and department specific policies and procedures. To provide supervision, support and education to qualified and unqualified staff.
Qualifications
* Following initial 6 month period must be prepared to undertake additional training to achieve nationally recognised qualifications
* Recognised qualification in Sterile Services
* Knowledge of Surgical Instruments
* Supervisory or management qualification
Experience
* Previous work in Sterile Services or clean room
* Manufacturing or similar department hospital setting
