Recruitment Partner for Tech & Digital | Founder of IMT Resourcing Solutions
Principal AWS Architect | Up to £125k + 20% Bonus | Remote with travel
We’re working with an IT Consultancy building out their AWS practice and looking for a Principal Architect to lead the function. This role blends hands-on AWS delivery with strategic leadership – perfect for someone who wants to stay close to the tech while shaping and scaling a practice.
What you’ll do:
* Define and grow the AWS practice, setting technical direction
* Stay hands-on: Terraform (IaC), Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock integrations
* Deliver cloud transformation projects for enterprise clients
* Mentor engineers and architects, building capability and culture
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
* Proven AWS Architect at Principal/Lead level
* Strong hands-on skills across AWS services (Terraform, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock)
* Track record of leadership and practice development
The package:
* Up to £125,000 + 20% bonus
* Remote, with monthly office visits to Cardiff + client site travel
