Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support strategic decision-making.
4. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
5. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimisation.
6. Assist with year-end financial reporting and liaise with external auditors.
7. Oversee cash flow management and provide recommendations for improvement.
8. Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and processes.
9. Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and guidance.
10. Support ad hoc financial projects and business case assessments as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. Working towards a professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
13. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
14. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
15. Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
