Are you a fast, accurate typist with a keen eye for detail? Do you take pride in producing well-presented, professional documents?
We’re working with a growing and well-established business on the Wirral who are looking for a highly organised Secretary/ Office Administrator to join their friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, formatting documents, and playing a key role in important submissions.
The Role
This position is heavily focused on preparing and formatting tender (bid) documents, so strong typing skills and a high level of accuracy are essential. You’ll also support the wider team with general administration.
Duties
1. Typing, formatting, and finalising professional tender documents (bid letters, reports, RAMS)
2. Creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word, including tables and structured layouts
3. Downloading, organising, and uploading tender documentation
4. Completing supplier questionnaires and compliance paperwork
5. Maintaining accurate records
6. Managing training records and document filing
7. Arranging travel and accommodation for meetings/site visits
8. Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
About You
We’re looking for someone who really stands out in the following areas:
9. Fast and accurate typing skills (essential)
10. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word (formatting, tables, document layout)
11. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
12. Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
13. Methodical and able to work well under pressure
14. Previous administration experience
15. A reliable team player who can also work independently
