Advert Administrative Officer – Billing, Ordering & Payments Carruthers House, English Street, Dumfries (and/or Home Working) £31,215 - £33,300 We are currently seeking to recruit an Administrative Officer within the Billing, Ordering & Payments Team. Based in Dumfries, you will play a key role in developing and administering our Integra Centros Sales Ledger system. The main responsibilities and activities of the post are set out within the attached job description and include liaising with Service Departments and External Partners to successfully maintain and develop our Sales Ledger system. You will Supervise a small team who are responsible for the issuing and collection of Sales Ledger (Sundry) invoices. You will liaise with Department Representatives, External Collection Agents and Legal Services to maximise debt recovery of all invoices. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and adaptable with good organisational and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a busy team, have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels. Candidates should be a suitably qualified with extended financial experience. You should have previous experience of Integra Centros and dealing with members of the public, be competent in the use of Microsoft Office systems and have knowledge of relevant legislation and Council policies as well as understanding the issues of service user confidentiality.
