Assistant Quantity Surveyor

gap constructions are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established contractor specialising in high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment projects within the commercial sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to develop their career with one of the leading names in the interiors space.
Performance Objectives:

* You'll work closely with the commercial team to support the delivery of fit-out projects valued between £3m and £20m.
* This position offers excellent exposure to fast-paced, technically interesting schemes with the backing of a supportive and experienced team.
* Assist in preparing valuations, cost reports, and subcontractor packages
* Support with contract administration and change management
* Track and monitor project costs to ensure accurate forecasting
* Collaborate with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support smooth commercial delivery
* Ensure adherence to commercial processes throughout the project lifecycle
