The Role: As a Children’s Care Assistant, you’ll work long-term with one or a few paediatric clients in the Maidstone area, supporting one person per shift. Additional day and night shifts are available in and around the Maidstone area, offering flexibility to suit your availability and preferred working hours. Enjoy a fixed rota with the option to work overtime, and choose from: Full-time or part-time hours Night shifts only 8 – 12 hour shifts. The training you will receive: All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. To follow the client's care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager. Support the client in a person-centered manner, promoting their well-being and independence. To assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feeds, seizure management, and medication administration. Requirements Full right to work within the UK. Full UK driving license with access to a car. Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week. Previous and recent care experience, involving personal care.
