Senior Assistant (International Office) - DurhamThe Role and Department The International Office is responsible for:The recruitment of international students to all areas of the university to meet institutional targetsSupporting and managing the developing of international partnerships to raise the University's global profile and to support academic colleagues in developing international links and collaborationsManaging the university's student mobility programmes (Erasmus+ and other exchange partnerships) to meet the University's student mobility targetsThis full-time fixed term role will mainly involve supporting the team of International Administrators with increased workload during this period. The role involves data handling, responding to basic queries in multiple inboxes and general administrative support. Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential. Post holders will also require a high level of customer care skills and a need to demonstrate cultural sensitivity when communicating with a variety of different people from across the globe.Further information about the role and the responsibilities is at the bottom of this job description.
