Teaching Assistant
* Annual Salary: £90 - £115 per day
* Location: Greenwich
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Greenwich with a vibrant and supportive educational environment. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working in schools and is passionate about contributing to the educational and personal development of students.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
* Support individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete assignments.
* Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips.
* Help maintain a clean and orderly classroom.
* Collaborate with teachers to monitor the progress of students.
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
* Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role within an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
* Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a positive approach to dealing with students.
* Relevant qualifications in Education or related field is preferred.
