Perform routine sampling, sample preparation, physical testing and routine analytical testing required for either QC Technical Services, or Incoming Materials or Finished ProductsIPC according to the QC Lead Analysts workplan or as directed by the QC Supervisor. Perform routine or special duties assigned by the QC Supervisor to check / verify / draft SOPs and specifications that are required to meet regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure that all analytical standards, methods, sampling processes, and training requirements are executed in full compliance with the written requirements or SOP. Coordinate with the QC Lead Analyst and the rest of the team to assure that the analytical work assigned to the QC Analysts responsibility is achievable and delivered in a timely manner. Notify the QC Senior Analyst immediately if there is any issue with the availability and validity of protocols, reports, specifications, or retest date for calibration, qualification and validation of equipment. Notify the QC Senior Analyst immediately if there is any issue with the purchase, replacement and availability or delivery of the required reference standards, chemicals, reagents, consumables, and clean glassware for their work. Rigorously follow the data integrity and governance requirements in the SOPs. Perform EHS work-related tasks (e.g. waste disposal and glassware cleaning) and ensure that QC Analysts I are all aware of any specific EHS responsibilities to the work before they start documenting and, if necessary, escalating any failures in EHS compliance directly to the QC Supervisor. Demonstrate aptitude for learning and self-motivated development especially with respect of training on HPLC, KF Titration, Dissolution testing as well as physical testing of tablets, capsules and packaging. Prepare analytical QC data before presenting results for checking to the QC Senior Analyst. Ensure that all analytical work documentation is properly printed / saved / retained prior to peer review. Preparation of retention and reference samples for raw materials, finished product and packaging materials. Responsible for implementing immediate corrections and corrective actions identified for their work by the data reviewers or more senior analysts and annotating the documentation correctly. Completing allocated training on time and making sure that the training is effective by implementing correctly within the QC analytical work assigned. Required Experience & Qualifications: Good practical chemistry lab or QC analytical skills. Very good verbal, written, and technical communication skills in English. IT literate (e.g. minimum Microsoft Office suite). Aptitude for analytical work. Attention to detail and ability to produce good quality analytical work and data presentation. GCSE Advanced Level Certificate in Chemistry or Advanced British Standard qualification in Chemistry (minimum) OR Diploma or BSc in Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Analytical Sciences, OR An equivalent science degree with a strong practical and analytical component OR Right to work in UK
