We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our Digital Imaging & Document processing operation in Hemel Hempstead. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall interests of the scanning department, assisting the morning supervisor in the planning, administration, monitoring, and optimising the operational performance of the scanning and operational personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of 14-18 staff responsible for scanning & validating customer documents.
* Assist the morning supervisor in the planning, administration, monitoring, and optimising the operational performance of the scanning and operational personnel.
* Strategically manage operations in compliance with company policies and vision.
* Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations within the scanning facility.
* Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
* Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
* Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the department.
* Liaise with clients on site as required.
* Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
* Train, coach, and motivate the team.
* Produce reports and statistics regularly.
* Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
* Support the team in the execution of exceptional delivery services and contractual KPIs.

* Strong understanding of operational policies and procedures, including health and safety, hygiene, and security.

* Ability to plan work rotas, assign tasks, and appraise performance effectively.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Understanding of company safety and security policies, processes, and procedures, including conducting risk assessments and statutory reporting.
