Our home in Ayr is recruiting for a Senior Support Worker and we are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team.
We continue to provide a unique community-based, living and learning environment in support of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of day-to-day operations within our services.
* Engage in and manage each child’s plan, ensuring the plans are managed with the highest standards of care and professionalism.
* Work closely with the support team to ensure the delivery of quality services to children and young people aged 8 to 18 years.
* Transport young people to external locations as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* SVQ3 qualification in Children and Young People (or equivalent) and willingness to progress to SVQ4 within the time frame set out by SSSC.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening, including Disclosure Scotland checks and at least two references covering the last three years from relevant workplaces.
* Strong values aligned with Aspris Children’s Services and transferable skills and life experience.
