Our client has an exciting opportunity for a committed and experienced individual to join their company as a full-time, permanent Air Conditioning Service Engineer. You will be instrumental in servicing and maintaining a variety of air conditioning systems across their client base.
Key Responsibilities
As an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer, your role will involve:
Performing high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services specifically on various air conditioning systems, including VRF, Splits, Chillers, Refrigeration equipment, and Air Handling Units.
Conducting building fit-outs and refurbishments as required.
Ensuring all work complies with mechanical and electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
Identifying and solving complex problems efficiently and effectively.
Working autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively as part of a larger team when necessary.
Accurately diagnosing electrical faults in both mains power and control circuits.
Maintaining excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Required Experience & Qualifications
(Essential)
Air Conditioning Service Engineer: 3 years minimum (Required)
Maintenance Engineer: 1 year minimum (Required)
Valid CSCS / FGAS Certification
City & Guilds 6187-21 – Hydrocarbon Refrigerants
NVQ Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
FGAS
Proven experience in the field
A clean, valid UK driving license (held for at least 1 year)
Willingness to travel (approx. 25% preferred)
Ability to identify and solve problems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Presentable, confident, and a good communicator
Desirable Qualifications
(Beneficial)
IPAF Certification
PASMA Certification
NVQ Level 3 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
Basic knowledge of electrical testing and fault diagnosis
