CLACTON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL INCLUSION SUPPORT COORDINATOR Pay Range: Local Government Pay Scale 5 Actual Salary from: £22,640 – £23,581 (Points 9-12) Start Date: 1st September 2025 The Role An opportunity has arisen at Clacton County High School for the role of Inclusion Support Co-ordinator to join our current Inclusion Support team working with an excellent group of colleagues within our Special Educational Needs faculty. A motivated person to work alongside colleagues both teaching and non-teaching, to be a role model for all our students, to support those students who may require assistance in overcoming any barriers to learning. The role of the Inclusion Support Coordinator is to promote and instil these ideals, encouraging all students within their care to access the curriculum and engage with their learning and to build positive, respectful and lasting relationships with others to become successful and valued citizens. As an Inclusion Support Co-ordinator you will help to lead with supporting and implementing the requirements of identified students to overcome their individual barriers to learning and work as part of an inclusion support team to co-ordinate the support required to meet the needs of students with any identified SEND. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Support students with behavioural difficulties in class and around school, to support them to identify their triggers and develop strategies to modify their behaviour and develop a positive attitude to learning. Meet with parents and other stakeholders as part of the SEND one planning process. Encourage the inclusion of students in a mainstream setting and support successful reintegration’s back into all lessons and encourage participation in extra-curricular activities. Supervision of inclusion support workers as required. Responsible for the performance management of inclusion support workers.
