A respected independent secondary school located near Tewkesbury is looking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher on a part-time, temporary basis starting this September.
The role involves teaching DT across KS3 and KS4, with full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons. Responsibilities:
•Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
•Develop lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
•Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
•Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
•Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
•Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
•Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to the DT department.
Requirements:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
•Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary school level.
•Strong understanding of the DT curriculum and assessment methods.
•Excellent communication and organisational skills.
•Ability to inspire and motivate students.
•Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
