What’s in it for you
?
1. You’ll earn £13.68 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
2. You’ll be paid weekly, every Friday
3. 35-40 hours per week with 11:00-17:00 shifts as standard
4. Monday to Friday, with just 1 weekend per month and 3 days off the following week after your weekend rotation
5. You’ll have access to our Referral Scheme – earn up to £250
Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly:
6. Washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils
7. Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors and walls
8. Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
9. Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
What we’re looking for
To succeed as a Kitchen Porter, you’ll need:
10. A strong work ethic – reliable, punctual and hardworking
11. A positive attitude and willingness to take instruction
12. A team-focused approach, supporting chefs and colleagues
13. Good physical fitness, able to stand for long periods and handle heavier items
This position may also suit someone with experience as a Kitchen Assistant, and we welcome applicants from nearby areas including Forres who are able to commute to Inverness.
