QC Inspector
Location: Warrington, WA3 6GR
Salary: PAYE: 37.33
Umbrella: £49.08
This is a new temporary contract lasting up to 8 months.
The responsibilities
1. Promote a Nuclear and Personal Safety Culture
2. Ensure the quality standards of the joint venture and the client are consistently met and compliant with the specification
3. Encourage continuous improvements across the project
4. Promotion and implementation of the Project Quality Management System and Joint venture process
5. Interact with project construction and suppliers in accordance with ITP's to ensure correct fabrication & installation
6. Conversant with nuclear fabrication specifications
7. Fluent with material certification review
8. Participate with audit activates both at supplier works on on-site
9. Timely, effective and concise reporting
10. Promote a disciplines approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of life time quality records
The Ideal Candidate
11. Sellafield/nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.
12. Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records.
13. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.
14. Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.
15. CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2
16. PCN ll qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T
17. Painting Inspector, Qualified, Iccor level 2 or equivalent
18. NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training
19. Understanding and familiarity or working within a team culture and JV environment
