Role Overview
Non‑Executive Directors work in partnership with the Chair and the Executive Directors on the Board to advise on strategy development and oversee the performance of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. They share collective responsibility with other Directors for the Trust’s success, using available resources to deliver healthcare and improve the health of local communities.
Non‑Executive Directors bring independence, external skills and perspectives, ensuring robust governance and high standards across the Trust’s activities. They are held to account by, and engage with, the Council of Governors through quarterly meetings and other forums.

Qualifications
* Operated at a senior level in large or complex organisations.
* Strong financial acumen or broader commercial background.
* Will be open to candidates with diverse experience who can contribute.
