Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high‑quality care and education in line with EYFS.
* Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
* Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
Qualifications
* Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
* Excellent understanding of EYFS.
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
* Leadership experience desirable.
* Enhanced DBS check required; all staff required to complete safeguarding and other regular training.
Safeguarding and Compliance
As a Room Leader you will uphold a commitment to safeguarding, complete regular safeguarding training, and maintain a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate subject to enhanced checks.
