Job Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £40,000 £45,000 Hours: Full-time, Permanent We're looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join our fantastic client's team in Bury St Edmunds, supporting the installation, servicing, and repair of machinery. This is a field-based role working directly with customers to deliver technical support, training, and maintenance. The position includes regular UK travel and occasional overseas trips (some up to two weeks). Key Responsibilities: Install, service, and maintain machinery at customer sites. Provide operator training and ongoing technical support. Troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely. Accurately complete service reports and documentation. Participate in a call-out rota for emergency support. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to plan service visits. Be available for weekend callouts and emergency phone support on a rota (1 in 5 weeks) Skills & Experience Required: Qualified (or with equivalent hands-on experience) in mechanical and electrical engineering.
