Job Opportunity: Secondary Design Technology Teacher
Academics is actively seeking enthusiastic secondary Design Technology Teachers for short-term and long-term supply assignments within our partner secondary schools and academies across Cheshire East & West from September.
Whether you are interested in long-term contracts or week-by-week supply roles, we focus on matching your preferences to suitable opportunities. These roles offer flexibility in working days and are especially beneficial for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), often leading to permanent positions.
We welcome applications from Design Technology Teachers specializing in Food and Nutrition, Textiles, Resistant Materials, or Product Design.
Roles Requirements
1. Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS).
2. Be familiar with the National Curriculum and Design Technology programmes of study.
3. Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire positive learning attitudes.
4. Adapt quickly to new school environments and work well within a team.
5. Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one (cost applicable).
Daily rates depend on experience, qualifications, the length of supply, and current client rates.
