The Opportunity
We are looking for high calibre, passionate, caring individuals who are excellent team players and are committed to providing high quality, trauma informed services for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
The role will provide range of practical housing and administrative provision within a supported housing environment. The role is the first point of contact for the Safenet safe accomodation located in Oldham and will ensure emergency access to accommodation for women, men and children through a concierge function.

Essential Core Skills
 5. Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, plus via latest tech, including online/digital platforms ie virtual team / external meetings where required
 6. Experience of working on your own initiative using excellent time management and organisational skills as well as within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
 7. Experience of delivering results in a housing management role and or be able to demonstrate transferable skills and experience.
 8. Experience of leading, developing and managing an effective team with a supportive wellbeing focus
Ability to work pro-actively and collaboratively with representatives of partner agencies.
 9. Ensure comprehensive support packages for residents to improve pathways into and out of SafeNet services, reducing barriers for residents.
 10. A clear understanding of performance monitoring and ability to write reports for a range of audiences.
 11. Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and/or aligned values and willingness to learn.
 12. Knowledge of local and national approaches in tackling Domestic Abuse including legislation and frameworks that protect victims and survivors.
 13. Knowledge of Women’s Aid National Standards for providing survivor led services.
 14. Confidence in using computer packages i.e., word documents, emails, spreadsheets, and in-house case management systems
 15. Aligned with and ‘modelling’ Calico and SafeNet’s culture and values to nurture an inclusive and compassionate environment.
Health & Safety Awareness

Safeguarding
We work with adults and children who may be ‘at risk’ and expect colleagues to work in a way which protects the people we support from harm. Our colleagues are expected to identify people ‘at risk’ and confidently report any Safeguarding concerns as appropriate within the service.
Digital
Across our services, we use a range of technology and systems and expect colleagues to use them effectively and safely following cybersecurity and data protection principles (UK GDPR). Full training on specific systems is provided but a willingness to learn and develop is essential.

Desirable:
 16. Training in trauma-informed care or domestic abuse awareness.
 17. Experience handling incidents such as disclosures of abuse, medical emergencies, or safeguarding concerns.
 18. Working knowledge of safeguarding procedures for adults and children.
 19. Liaising with external agencies such as police, social services, housing providers, or health professionals.
 20. Contributing to referral or assessment processes.
 21. Direct work with people affected by domestic abuse, homelessness, mental health issues, or trauma.
 22. Experience or training in handling emergencies, including safeguarding and domestic abuse disclosures.
 23. Experience liaising with police, social services, housing officers, or support charities.
 24. Understanding of refuge security protocols and ability to enforce them.
 25. Vigilance in monitoring access and responding to potential threats.
 26. Understanding of UK safeguarding laws and procedures.
 27. Familiarity with the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and housing rights.
 28. Ability to manage emotional impact of the role and maintain professional boundaries.
