Support Assistant

Pay: £89 - £93 per day (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable Support Assistant to support a fantastic primary school in the Midhurst area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who are passionate about supporting children and young people either 1-1 or class environment with additional needs and are looking for flexible work.
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging positively in lessons.
* Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
* Assist with personal care where required.
* Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Work across a variety of primary and/or secondary settings.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable).
* Be patient, resilient and proactive.
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS.
