Job Description:
VIQU is partnering with a leading public sector organization in Newport to recruit a Senior Test Analyst on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working, competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative digital team supporting critical public services.
The main responsibilities include performing manual and automated testing, leading a team of test analysts, and managing the overall testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts across various testing phases including functional, regression, and accessibility testing.
* Manage defect resolution in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
* Mentor junior Test Analysts to ensure quality and consistency.
* Present testing outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Key Requirements:
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and defect management.
* Experience with automation frameworks, scripting, and API testing tools.
* Proven experience in developing test plans, strategies, scripts, and reports.
* Leadership experience in guiding test teams.
* Knowledge of software development and testing life cycles.
* Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
