As part of continuous growth, we’re expanding our portfolio of turbines throughout Wales. This means we are looking for a skilled Wind Turbine Technician who is passionate about keeping things spinning smoothly. If you’ve got a knack for troubleshooting and love the challenge of working with a range of turbines, this might be the perfect role for you. You will also be given the opportunity to learn new skills and work on other technologies as our portfolio grows. This role will be based in South Wales. (Travel required).
What You’ll Be Whirling Through
Bring your Enercon expertise to the team! You’ll mentor and train others, helping new technicians hit the ground running on site while providing hands‑on support whenever it’s needed.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
You’ll be the key to keeping our Enercon turbines in top shape. From scheduled maintenance to those unexpected call‑outs, you’ll tackle it all. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues will be your bread and butter, as well as conducting thorough inspections and replacing components when needed. With each visit, you’ll log every detail—keeping service reports and turbine performance records up to date is just as important as turning those wrenches. Safety always comes first, and you’ll ensure every task meets industry standards.
Keeping Our Customers in the Loop
You’ll be the point of contact for our customers on‑site, keeping them informed and reassured throughout every step of the maintenance process. Your updates help us build trust while keeping the turbines turning.
Safety & Quality: Your North Star
You’ll stick to safety protocols, no concessions allowed, spotting potential hazards and addressing them before they become an issue. You’ll also make sure that every component of the wind turbine—big or small—meets our high standards for quality and reliability. It’s up to you to ensure the safe and efficient operation of both electrical and mechanical components.
Catch the Breeze of Improvement
You won’t just maintain our fleet—you’ll help us make it better. Working with engineering and operational teams, you’ll look for ways to boost turbine performance and efficiency. Using error and gap analysis, response times, and operational data, you’ll keep things running as smoothly as a perfect gust of wind. Occasionally, you’ll also work with the control room, remotely monitoring turbines all over the world—because our reach goes far beyond the horizon.
