Requirements
* Informing design and decision reviews of components, systems and layouts to ensure we can support through-life operation and maintenance, including into the decommissioning phase of the lifecycle of our SMR
* Identifying the skill types, roles and numbers of staff required for successful through-life operation
* Informing the development of Operating Conditions and Limits for normal and faulted operation
* Defining how our power station operates through all modes (power and shutdown) and states (normal, abnormal, faulted, emergency)
* Generating and obtaining data to develop a through-life cost model, considering the cost of, for example, staffing, spare parts, maintenance

Compensation & Benefits
The role will best suit a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) who has completed their Reactor Operator training with demonstrable operational experience within a Nuclear Power Station.
In return we can offer a salary between £53800 – £66500 plus:
* Bonus – Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance – £2200, enabling you to create a bespoke package
