Quality Manager – Leading Main Contractor
Location: England (national coverage)
Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 + package
We’re representing a leading main contractor renowned for delivering large-scale projects across the Data Centre, Industrial, Life Science and Mission Critical sectors. With schemes typically valued between £40m – £150m, they have built a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and repeat business with global blue-chip clients.
The business is now seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their expanding UK operations.
The Role
As Quality Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met across major construction projects from design through to commissioning and handover. You’ll work closely with project teams to implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality processes across MEP, CSA, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and oversee project-specific quality plans and procedures.
* Carry out regular quality audits, inspections, and reporting.
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure all works comply with specifications and standards.
* Support commissioning activities, ensuring all systems meet performance and documentation requirements.
* Lead quality meetings, manage NCRs, and drive closeout processes.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Preferred Experience
* Proven background in a Quality Management role within large-scale construction or mission-critical environments.
* Experience with MEP systems or commissioning strongly preferred.
* Strong understanding of ISO standards and QA/QC documentation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work across multiple projects throughout the UK.
