About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our Retail Merchandising team. The role is field based and full time, working 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
This role will be covering the South East, including locations such as Hatfield. Please note that you may, at times, be required to work in other regions to support the wider Merchandising team.
A car allowance of between £5K - £8K, depending on mileage, and the option to have a fuel card, may be offered.
You will be responsible for
* Working with the Regional Development teams to ensure each store is merchandised according to planograms and is ready for opening.
* Creating and placing retailer’s orders to ensure stock availability during merchandising programs.
* Installing store imagery and POS in line with current promotions.
* Collaborating with retailers and store teams on merchandising best practices.
* Ensuring policies, processes, and procedures promote sustainability and that the site remains HSL compliant.
* Contributing to regional category initiatives.
* Managing additional resources such as agency staff if required outside of Booker’s scope.
You will need
* Willingness to travel regularly to applicable sites. Please inform us of any support needs for your application. A car allowance will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
* Experience in a similar merchandising role is beneficial.
* Knowledge of Epos, Green Tickets, Buying, and Delivery Schedules is advantageous.
* Experience in Project Management is highly desirable.
