Google Cloud (GCP) Consultant Clearance: SC Cleared Location : Fully remote (UK only) Start : ASAP Duration : Initial 6 months, strong potential to extend Description Our client is working with an enterprise-scale organisation in the food and support services sector to bring on an experienced Google Cloud (GCP) Consultant. You will play a key role in rebuilding and supporting a GCP-hosted application environment that is being migrated into the UK region. The core focus is on the infrastructure layer of GCP, not on the application itself. This role is hands-on, technically involved, and offers the chance to work end-to-end across the build, updates, testing, and ongoing enhancements. What Youll Be Doing You will start with a manual build phase and progress through automation and data enablement/migration. Your work will cover design, build, and support of cloud infrastructure components including GCP services. You will produce the associated high-and low-level documentation required for a compliant and well-governed build. You will follow an existing architecture and collaborate with non-UK teams for knowledge transfer while owning the UK delivery. You may also be involved in DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code activity as the project evolves. What Were Looking For You must have strong, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and hold the GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification. Previous experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure, producing technical documentation, and working with established architectural plans. Backgrounds in cloud engineering, GCP infrastructure, and multi-phase build environments fit well with this project. Nice to Have experience with DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code.
