The Catering Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital provide meals, snacks and beverages to patients, staff and visitors.
The Catering supervisor is a key member of the team and has responsibility for carrying a range of duties related to food production and service in a busy kitchen environment.
The Catering Supervisor will be working closely with Catering Co-ordinator and managers to ensure that Catering services meet relevant nutritional and dietary requirements arising from clinical, religious and cultural needs.
Responsibilities
* The Catering Supervisor responsibilities will include: supervision of staff
* Ensuring a clean, safe environment is maintained
* Demonstrate good teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills; be self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, have a flexible approach to shift alterations, and maintain a friendly and professional approach
Working hours between 6.30am to 8.00pm, rate of pay £12.53 with enhanced pay at weekends: Saturday £16.86 and Sunday £21.18.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
