Overview
Location: Remote working – regional role covering Central and North East Region with occasional travel within areas including Nottingham, Wakefield, Halifax. Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Head of HR, provide a resilient HR Business Partner service with exceptional employee relations knowledge and experience in managing complex investigations.
* Support operational colleagues across the Central / North region by coaching teams to develop HR capabilities and execute organisational strategies focused on talent management, resource planning, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, performance management and organisational effectiveness.
* Partner a department within our Head Office Function by supporting the Executive Leader for that department, providing breadth and strategic focus.
* Establish and maintain a positive employee relations climate across the region and work with operational management to implement employee engagement initiatives in line with Group strategy and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Focused on delivering results with strong commercial acumen in a multi-site environment.
* Experience in complex and high-volume employee relations with understanding of TUPE and change management.
* Sound knowledge of employment law including ER procedures and processes such as employment tribunals, disability, diversity and equal opportunities.
* Ability to influence, be credible and resilient.
* Full driving licence and own car are essential.
* CIPD Certificate Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Credibility and the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively.
