Our major trauma centre has been ranked number one in the country for survival rates, come and join the number one team.
We currently have a vacancy for Registered Nurses or ODP at Band 5 in the speciality of Elective Orthopaedic theatres at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
we are very keen to recruit Scrub and Anaesthetic Practitioners with existing skills, all Nurses and ODP's are welcome to apply.
Ideally we are looking for experienced theatre team members, but we welcome applications from newly qualified staff / or new to theatres who can demonstrate a keen interest in joining our team. Any students who qualify in the next 3 to 6 months are encouraged to apply.
You will gain a wide range of experience and can expand your skills and knowledge in this challenging and rewarding environment.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidates with the ability to work well within a challenging environment, and who can deliver high quality patient care from both an Anaesthetics and Scrub skill set. We promote a dual role workforce in our theatre Department.
In turn, we can offer you a structured preceptorship and induction programme for all new members of staff, plus access to on going continual professional education and development, appraisal and clinical supervision
